On Winyl Wednesday this week we will be pairing The Smiths 1986 seminal album The Queen is Dead with a vicious red from the Puglia region. Negromaro is rustic in character, combining perfume with an earthy bitterness which we feel will fit beautifully alongside the urban production values of Morrissey and Marr. But we mainly chose it as Morrissey probably won’t like the name.
